Beginners - This group is for beginners who just started playing chess or who want to learn how to play chess. In this group students will learn the basics, including the name of each piece, how each piece moves, setting up the board properly, and opening/closing moves.
Advanced- This group is focused on providing informative and challenging chess lessons to students. The advanced group consists of chess players that have a solid understanding of the rules and gameplay and are working on expanding their tactical play. Chess is a valuable tool to help increase a child's focus, concentration and ability to problem solve. The goal is to ensure that all the students improve at chess, gain valuable life skills and, most importantly, have fun.
